The Generac Protector Series 40kW Liquid-Cooled Standby Generator is designed to provide dependable backup power for large homes and commercial properties. With a 40,000-watt output, it can support major appliances, heating and cooling systems, lighting, and other essential electrical equipment when utility power is interrupted. Its automatic standby operation helps restore power without requiring manual startup.
Powered by a 4.5-liter, four-cylinder engine, this generator runs on natural gas or liquid propane. Its liquid-cooling system helps manage engine temperature during extended operation, while the sound-attenuated enclosure helps reduce operating noise. The aluminum enclosure is designed to resist corrosion and withstand outdoor installation conditions.
The generator features TruePower™ technology, providing less than 5% total harmonic distortion for cleaner power suitable for sensitive electronics and modern appliances. Its automatic operation, high motor-starting capability, and cellular connectivity make it a practical solution for dependable backup power. Mobile Link® monitoring allows users to check generator status and maintenance alerts remotely through a compatible device.
