The Generac Guardian 26kW Home Standby Generator (Model 7291) is designed to provide reliable backup power for your home during unexpected power outages. It starts automatically when utility power is lost and works with your home’s electrical system to keep essential appliances, lighting, heating, and other household equipment running, depending on your power requirements.
Powered by Generac’s G-Force 1000 engine, this standby generator delivers up to 26,000 watts on liquid propane and 22,500 watts on natural gas. Its True Power™ technology provides clean, stable electricity with less than 5% total harmonic distortion, helping protect sensitive electronics and modern appliances.
The generator includes built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and Mobile Link™ remote monitoring, allowing you to check its operating status and receive maintenance alerts through a compatible device. Its Quiet-Test™ mode runs scheduled self-tests at a lower engine speed to help reduce noise and fuel consumption.
The included 200-amp service-entrance-rated automatic transfer switch helps manage the transition between utility power and generator power. The durable aluminum enclosure is designed for outdoor installation, while the Evolution™ controller features a multilingual digital display for monitoring system status and maintenance information.
